Couple all set to marry in a shark tank

sha Riverhead, Jun 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) One couple has sure found a unique place to take their wedding vows. April Pignataro and Michael Curry are all set to take their wedding vows in the Lost City of Atlantis Shark Tank at Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead.

The couple wanted to hold their wedding in a special place and they were searching for venues. They came across Long Island Aquarium where numerous ‘normal’ weddings have already taken place. However when April and Michael saw the venue then they were bitten by the adventurous bug and wanted their wedding to be different. So they thought about the ‘Shark Dive Wedding’.

Johanna Zucaro, who is the spokesperson for Atlantis Marine World said that many traditional weddings are held there every weekend, and this wedding would also be traditional but the couple would exchange their wedding vows underwater.

Philip Pignataro, who is father of April, said that, “While looking at the place, they were excited. They wanted to be a little different.” Meanwhile Robert Lanieri, who is the Director of Food Services at Atlantis, said that both the bride and the groom are experienced divers and they got very excited with the prospect of a Shark Dive Wedding. He said that, “When April and Michael told us they were looking for something different, I knew immediately they would love our Shark Dive wedding.”
