Jun 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Coroner’s office has said that the teenager who was an inhabitant of Pomona and who was thought to have been bitten by a spider, didn’t die due to the spider bite.

It ought to be mentioned that 13-year-old Jonathan Price had died on Sunday, at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Just prior to his death, he had suffered a cardiac arrest too. There were speculations that the real cause of his death might have had been the bite of a spider, as there was a small bump on his body. Everybody thought that it was a spider bite, which had triggered off the cardiac arrest.

But now the LA County coroner’s official – Lt. Cheryl MacWillie has clarified that the bump on Jonathan Price’s body was a mere pimple and not a spider bite. She also added that there was no other proof that the teenager was even bitten by a spider, just prior to his death.

However there is an autopsy, which would be held on Tuesday, which perhaps would provide some clues onto the real reason of Jonathan Price’s demise.

The emergency service personnel were summoned at the abode of Jonathan Price on 1:35 pm on Sunday. Then he was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead at around 4:48 pm that day itself.
