dirk-friend-mug-200Dirk Nowitzki’s ex-fiance Cristal Taylor is reportedly pregnant with his child. She was sentenced to five year imprisonment on grounds of having violated probation. Cristal Taylor 38, belongs to St.Louis. Dirk Nowitzki has filed a petition in court claiming the custody of the unborn baby.

There is a good chance that Nowitzki will receive custody rights without much trouble since Taylor will not be leading an ordinary civilian life outside prison for a long term for sure. She violated terms of the 1999 trial where she was charged for forgery. She got sentenced on the basis on 3 felony counts, and misdemeanor. Nancy Schneider was the judge who penalized her.

Taylor is reportedly said to have addressed a letter to Schneider requesting her to show some leniency. She admits herself as a drug and alcohol addict in the letter and takes responsibility of violating parole. She did not seek any sympathy on grounds of her pregnancy but she did mention that she had “raised” three children who were currently 19, 17 and 14.

Matthew Fry, Taylor’s lawyer has appealed the court to even consider the 100 days that Taylor has already spent awaiting resolution to her trial. Fry had also cooked up some excuse for bail-reduction on grounds of a “higher risk” pregnancy last month. Taylor is reportedly 2 months pregnant. On that matter he added, “I can tell you that the records, as you know, that I got from Dallas had indicated that she was pregnant. I have been unable to get any medical tests ordered in the state of Missouri.

One reason is Dirk Nowitzki’s attorneys I guess have pending orders they’re trying to get here in Missouri. Without me having a state of Missouri blood-test, I would make no comments either way.”
There seems to be no confirmation whether Taylor will be sanctioned to leave jail when it is time to deliver her baby.
