Becky is the personification of the expression “living beyond ones means.” Becky craves the good stuff: Prada, Ravel, Dior and Chanel, but she lives off the wages of a low-on-the-totem-pole financial writer for Successful Savings, a low-on-the-totem-pole financial rag. She works as a writer for a financial magazine, and she has a shopping addiction, for which her crap job doesn’t pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back, then she tries making more money. Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in.
