Sep 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Much-acclaimed stand-up comedian Robert Schimmel has been admitted in a medical facility after he suffered major injuries in a car accident that took place on Thursday. According to reports that have surfaced, “The Howard Stern Show” star was in the passenger seat of the car while his teenage daughter was behind the wheels when the accident took place on an Arizona freeway. The stand-up comedian’s 11-year-old son was also in the vehicle when the mishap took place but fortunately did not suffer any injuries.

The news that Robert Schimmel was involved in the accident was initially reported by a leading celebrity website but later it was confirmed by a representative of the noted stand-up comedy artist. It has been revealed that the car wreck was quite severe in which Robert Schimmel suffered major injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility. The accident is said to have taken place when the stand-up comedian’s 19-year-old daughter was driving the vehicle and as she attempted to turn her car sharply, she lost control causing the vehicle to roll over on the side of the road. Reportedly, Robert Schimmel’s daughter also suffered injuries in the car wreck and was subsequently hospitalized. Sources have divulged that the teenager is now in a stable condition and is expected to recuperate from the condition. However, the stand-up comedian is said to be in quite a serious condition.

Robert Schimmel gained wide accolades for entertaining the audiences to the fullest with his appearance on HBO’s “The Howard Stern Show.” The comedy artist is known for his sex-driven humor which is often considered to be controversial.
