Coalition service member dies in Afghanistan vehicle accident
March 15th, 2010 - 8:45 pm ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )KABUL (BNO NEWS) — A coalition service member died as a result of a vehicle accident in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, NATO said on Monday.
A brief statement from the NATO-led ISAF alliance said the service member died on Sunday after a vehicle accident, but provided no additional details. The nationality of the service member was not immediately released.
The casualty brings the total number of coalition troops killed in Afghanistan this year to 112, according to a BNO News count. Most of the casualties are from the United States and the United Kingdom.
