Brooklyn, Mar 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Brooklyn couple has been at the receiving end for years, as there have been 50 erroneous raids on their house. And apparently the reason why their house has been picked up for raids, is because of a computer glitch. The address of their house was entered as a test case in the department-wide computer system in 2002, and since then the Brooklyn couple has been through hell.

The address was not deleted from the database, and because of that police has sometimes conducted raids even 3 times a week on their house. The couple consists of an innocent retired truck driver and a retired secretary, and they have been at their wits ends, because of the raids. Many times the police come to their house looking for criminals and thieves, and other unsavory characters as well.

However the police now have realized their folly, and said that their address has now been flagged, and will be removed too. They also promised that the police officers would not be sent to their address without double-checking. However the couple is surprised that no one from the police department has come to their house, yet to offer an apology for the mistake.
