Cicero, NY couple arrested on charges of possession of marijuana
February 9th, 2010 - 5:42 am ICT by BNO NewsAUBURN, NEW YORK (BNO NEWS) – A Cicero, New York couple on Saturday was arrested on drug charges, police officials said on Monday.
New York State Police stopped a vehicle for having an expired registration and switched plates on his vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was not only unregistered and uninsured, but also that it contained marijuana and other drugs.
Michael A. Stevenson, 47, and Lorraine M. Canestaro, 50, were both arrested. Stevenson was charged with the vehicle and traffic violations and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree.
Canestaro was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. Both were given appearance tickets for Locke Town Court to be seen on February 17.
