Chimp attack victim Charla Nash is sad over Sandra Herold’s death

Hartford, May 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chimp attack victim Charla Nash who was mauled badly by Travis, is sad that Sandra Herold has died. Travis was a chimp, who was owned by Sandra Herold, and who attacked Charla Nash brutally and blinded her for life. In the horrifying 12-minute attack, Charla Nash’s face was completely disfigured, she lost her sight, and the chimp also managed to rip off her hands, nose and even lips. The attack finally came to a stop, when the police came and shot the animal.

Sandra Herold, who was the owner of Travis, died on Monday from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. She was 72 years old. Meanwhile Charla Nash is said to be ‘in disbelief’ over the tragic news. When she was told about the death, by her twin brother Michael Nash then she exclaimed, ‘What!’ She was even speechless for quite a while, as she was very upset over the loss of her former friend. Then the family of Charla Nash released a statement, which said that, “Charla made a brief statement stating that Sandra was a troubled woman and maybe she has some peace now. The Nash family expressed their condolences to Sandra’s family and support their privacy during this time of loss of a beloved family member.”
