Nov 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Chicago Police launched an investigation after Megan Duskey, a Chicago school teacher fell to her death after attempting to slide down the staircase banister. The police said that Megan Duskey was at the Haunted Hotel Ball at a Hilton Hotel in Chicago with her group of friends. The investigators have not yet found any sign of foul play and said that the 23 year old woman passed away instantly of head trauma. However, the investigators are also of the opinion that alcohol may also be the cause of 23 year old woman’s death.

Megan Duskey’s family released a statement after her death where it was stated that her passing away is a “tragic” loss to her family and her friends as she was a “caring” person. The statement also stated that Megan Duskey was an energetic person who was full of life and exuberance and she was always eager to help others and wanted to make a “difference” to the world. Her family has not yet announced anything about her funeral. One of the eyewitnesses said that Megan Duskey fell off the balcony and everybody at the party “freaked out”.

Megan Duskey was at the party dressed in the Silk Spectre, wearing a super heroine costume of the comic book “Watchman”. She was at the party with her cousin, her college roommate and several other close friends. The hotel has not yet released any statement at the death of the 21 year old woman. However, police is still investigating the cause of death. Pessetto, who was a dear friend of Megan Duskey said that her friend loved parties. Pessetto said that she is really having a difficult time to absorb the fact that her friend Megan Duskey is no more.
