king1 San Diego, Mar 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chelsea King’s parents got the worse shock of their life when they found that their daughter was murdered, almost a week after she disappeared. She was last seen when she was jogging in a park in San Diego. Her father discovered her car, and then it felt the first rush of panic. He later said that he felt that his worst fears about her disappearance came true.

Later the parents of 17-year-old Chelsea suffered all the more, when they realized that if the justice system hadn’t failed them, then their beautiful daughter could be still alive today. Their daughter was violated by the registered sex offender – the 30 years old John Albert Gardner III. He has already entered a not-guilty plea for the death of Chelsea King, and even for the attempted rape of another unfortunate woman. If the plea deal works out, then he would be freed from prison after just 5 years.

When the parents of Chelsea King were asked if they felt that the judicial system had failed their daughter, and then they said that, “No,” says Chelsea’s mother, “It let our daughter down, it let every child in the country down, terribly … The score of that tragedy is beyond understandable.”
