Apr 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In March I posted an article which told of Chelsea Clinton’s visit to the “Women of the World: Stories and Solutions” conference, where she was showing off her engagement ring backstage. Chelsea kept the ring away from the view of the press, however, and aside from descriptions, no one, except the few she chose to flaunt it for, knew what the diamond encrusted band actually looked like. Well reports now state that this has all changed.

In the photos you can see Chelsea has a pretty good sized diamond. She wore the ring to her attendance of the Broadway musical entitled “Promises, Promises” as she hobbled in on her crutches, due to her broken heel.

The pictures are not crystal clear, but it is easy to see that it is a beautiful ring. Chelsea announced her engagement to Marc Mezvinsky in November. The banker from Goldman Sachs popped the question over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and the couple has been friends since childhood, attended college together, and have plans to marry in the summer.

The wedding is planned to be very private, which is par for the course with Chelsea, she has always been a private person. They are expected to only have family and a few friends present for the big day, and location nor exact date has been released. According to Hillary Clinton, “It will be a private affair. It will be for [Chelsea's] close friends and that’s the way it should be.”
