Aug 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Yesterday was the “royal wedding” of the former first daughter Chelsea Clinton and her long time beau Marc Mezvinksy which was held in Rhinebeck, New York. The occasion was graced by more than 400 high profiled guests from the media, business and political world along with the friends and families of the former President Bill Clinton and Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton. The media had been speculating about the wedding dress of the first former daughter of United States, as previously it was rumored that the bride will wear Oscar De La Renta as he a long time friend of Clinton family. However, all the speculations ended when Chelsea Clinton walked down the aisle yesterday wearing a Vera Wang designed ivory gown.

Chelsea Clinton and her mother Hillary Clinton were spotted many times visiting Vera Wang showroom. The bride looked ravishing in her strapless silk organza gown with a draped silk outer garment and a finely ornamented and decorated belt detailed with beautiful stitches and precious stones. The groom, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky looked handsome in Christopher Bailey’s designed tuxedo and tie.

The Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was spotted wearing Oscar De La Renta’s creation and the former first lady looked graceful and elegant in her outfit. Vera Wang is one of the most renowned celebrity designers and she masters in designing luxurious gowns from classical to modern. Yesterday she was spotted at GigiTrattoria on Montgomery street in the village of Rhinebeck after she walked out of a local restaurant in the village. The designer was invited to the wedding to shower her blessings on the newly wed couple.
