Cheerleader Jasmine Thompson’s killer turns himself in

Florida, Sep 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Seventeen year old Cheerleader Jasmine Thompson who was associated with Bayshore High School had been shot to death. Her apparent killer Daniel F. Williams, an 18-year-old man, who was originally suspected of the crime, has now himself conceded to it and turned himself in to the police, at Manatee County Sheriff’s Office on 301 Boulevard at about 10 p.m.

Jasmine was shot in the car, in which she was traveling with other cheerleaders on 37th Avenue East, near Southeast High School. This brutal murder happened just after 11pm on Friday.

The sheriff’s spokesman Dave Bristow made a brief statement in which he mentioned that Daniel was immediately arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

The gun, with which the victim was shot with, is yet to be recovered. The motive of the crime is still, unknown.

This death follows another Bayshore High School’s student to be shot to death in a month. Eighteen year old DeJuan Williams, a budding athlete who graduated last spring, was killed in August.
