A judge on Thursday permitted an appeal to legally transform the name and gender of the 41-year-old essayist, campaigner and reality TV celebrity. Chaz Bono came into the earth as a girl named Chastity Bono to Sonny Bono and Cher. However, Chastity Bono experienced a gender-alteration operation last year.

Chaz Bono was embodied in the courthouse by the legal representative, Kristina Wertz, of the Transgender Law Center. Wertz has explicated that the judge’s decree is a significant step in Chastity Bono’s conversion to Chaz Bono and will permit him to mirror his freshly acquired personality on an assortment of official papers.

Cher’s 41-year-old offspring, Chaz Bono, was born a girl by the name of Chastity Bono. It would delight Chaz that he can now, formally, be referred to as a man. Chaz Bono stated that he now feels much more at ease than he ever did previously in his life.
