New York, Jan 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS is still in a dilemma over whether they ought to run a highly controversial Super Bowl ad from the well-known gay dating site ManCrunch.com According to reports, they haven’t reached a decision as yet.
The ad is all of 30 seconds, but it could lead to a lot of controversies so CBS is still undecided. In the ad, there are 2 men who are watching the game with a lot of passion. They hands accidently brush as they reach into a bowl of chips. And before you know, the two of them start making out. And needless to say, this infuriates the people sitting nearby them.
The gay dating site has the tagline “Where Many Many Many Men Come Out to Play.” The advertisement, which could raise a controversy, was submitted on 18th of January. And when the gay dating site wanted to know the status of the ad on 22nd January, then they were told that the by CBS that “the spot hadn’t been officially approved yet” by network standards, and that “all the Super Bowl spots were sold out.” And the ManCrunch officials said that, “they do not want to officially ‘reject’ the spot out of fear there may be a backlash from gay advocacy groups.”
