CBS Golf Analyst lets out a dangerous fantasyMay 9th, 2009 - 7:49 pm ICT by GD
Former professional golfer and currently a Golf Analyst with CBS, David Feherty has made outrageous comments about Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In an article about the former President G. W. Bush and his wife moving to Preston Hollow, a suburb of Dallas, he speaks of his deep rooted loathing of “everyone who lives in this community”. He then goes on to say that: “From my own experience visiting the troops in the Middle East, I can tell you this, though: despite how the conflict has been portrayed by our glorious media, if you gave any U.S. soldier a gun with two bullets in it, and he found himself in an elevator with Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Osama bin Laden, there’s a good chance that Nancy Pelosi would get shot twice, and Harry Reid and bin Laden would be strangled to death.”
Feherty’s comments are not only violent but almost insane. Not only do his comments insult Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid, but they also question the integrity of the US soldiers. Feherty should apologize not only to the leaders about whom he has unleashed such disgustingly violent fantasies, but his apologies are due to the soldiers as well.
Feherty’s article is a part of a compilation of his thoughts on Bush’s return to Texas. The articles have been available online for quite some time now.
