Charleston, May 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A cat survived double ordeal to finally reunite with its owners. An 11-year-old cat named Spencer was part of four cats that were traveling with the owners in a camper when the vehicle swerved and camper crashed getting the family to believe that Spencer has escaped.

When the camper crashed, the three other cats were found but Spencer remained missing. Believing that the animal had escaped into the woods, the owners drove on. The incident happened near Harleyville, South Carolina on the 26th of April. The family traveled to their home in New York thinking that they have left Spencer behind in South Carolina.

They were to receive the shock of their lives when they were called and told that the cat is alive. The gray cat was found by the insurance adjuster who went to the place where the camper was being repaired. The animal was found in the damaged camper hiding between a ductwork and a wall.

All the while it is believed that the animal was living in the camper alone while caring for itself. The good news is that the animal survived the ordeal and was reunited with the owners.

The cat belonged to Ann Laubacker’s family.
