Florida, Apr 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Recent reports suggest that Casey Anthony had been communicating with two female inmates while she was in prison awaiting trial. She had been charged with the murder of her two year old daughter, Caylee. It has been reported that the women were in the habit of sneaking up to each other’s cells in the dead of night, where they used to hold long conversations. Moreover, they also used to exchange letters, which have been turned over to the authorities by the other female prisoners, who have been identified as Robyn Adams and Maya Derkovic. The inmates have further repeated their story to the police in an interview that was conducted within the prison walls.
According to reports of the prosecutors, Casey Anthony had confided things to her inmate which might give a definitive end to the trial. Apparently, she had confessed that she used to drug her two year old daughter with chloroform so that she could go out at night safely without having to worry about a babysitter. She further said that she regretted the fact that she had had a child at such a young age, but insisted that she had not murdered Caylee.
However, there were some disparities in her statements, as, according to the other inmate, she had narrated three versions of the disappearance of her child. On the other hand, the letters also contain descriptions of some horrific events from her childhood. For example, in one of the letters, she mentions being sexually abused by her father and brother. According to the defense attorney, these can have a significant effect on the trial, as she might be given a less harsh sentence on account of having a traumatic childhood.
