Bronx, Nov 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Carvett Gentles is a puppy-face 16 year old who pulled the trigger on the gun that is responsible for the comatose state of Vada Vasquez. She was an innocent by-stander who was shot just out of the blue in a street war.

The macho-ness and the coolness with which he pulled the trigger disappeared when Carvett Gentles was arrested and brought into the police station. He started crying like a child who is in big time-trouble when he was first brought into the 42nd Precinct stationhouse.

The small hands that police say momentarily held the power of life and death were cuffed in front of him, whose chain was secured by a leather-restraining belt firmly around his middle.

The extra security around his handcuffs was quiet necessary as his wrist is quiet small in radius and he might have been able to wriggle out his hand from the handcuffs. Also if he freed himself then he might have been quiet nimble on his toes and made an escape or at least tried too. On top of that, the police also felt that he might hurt himself on realizing the trouble that he is in. So they persisted with the extra security.

Meanwhile his gang-mates persisted that they all were innocent and that somebody instead set them up.
