Career mistakes to avoid

If you happen to find yourself with a job now, you must count yourself lucky. You must therefore do your best to ensure that you have the job for a long time because guess what there is a long queue waiting to do what you are currently doing.
The number one career mistake that you need to avoid is being on collision course with your boss. That can be really dangerous for your career. Let’s face it, your boss calls all the shots and your are practically at the mercy of his firing.
The next major career mistake that you must avoid at all cost is keeping with the wrong type of people. Love it or hate it but you will surely be judged by the association that you make at the job. As much as possible, avoid the company of the people who are not in the good books of everyone in the company.
The next mistake is centering everything about yourself. Remember that it is all about the company and not you so your interest should not be considered above that of the company.
