Canadian police arrest Vaughan man on child pornography charges
January 16th, 2010 - 1:59 am ICT by BNO NewsTORONTO (BNO NEWS) — Toronto police, along with members of the Internet Child Exploitation Unit of the York Regional Police Service, executed a search warrant at a home in Vaughan on Thursday, Canadian police said on Friday.
Yochanan Aaron Kalfa, 25, of Vaughan has been charged on three counts related to child pornography. Vaughan is a city in Southern Ontario, just north of Toronto.
Kalfa is accused of accessing child abuse images via the internet and making them available to others. He has been charged with possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.
Kalfa was scheduled to appear in court on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
