jordan Katmandu, May 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Californian teen Jordan Romero climbed the Mount Everest for a total height of 29,035 feet. Jordan is just 13 years old, and this is certainly a major accomplishment for him, because numerous people have tried to scale the tallest peak in the world and they haven’t all been successful. He was simply overjoyed by the accomplishment and he also thanked his team for the support. His team also included his father Paul, who had accompanied him for the daredevil attempt.

Jordan’s representative released a statement, which confirmed the news and said that, “The team has just called in and confirmed that they are standing on top of Mount Everest. Their dreams have now come true. Everyone sounded unbelievably happy.”

Jordan is so happy about his feat that he has taken a rock from the top of the Mount Everest peak and it proudly adorns his neck, as a neckpiece. Scaling the peaks of the mountains is not new to this feisty teenager. When he was barely 9 years old, then he had climbed Mount Kilimanjaro. He had even stated his goal on his blog. He wrote that, “Every step I take is finally toward the biggest goal of my life, to stand on top of the world.”
