Bus crash near Phoenix kills 6 people

Sacaton, Mar 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There was tragic mishap about 30 miles south of Phoenix, in which a bus crashed, and around 6 people were killed. Authorities revealed that at least 15 people were also injured. This accident happened when the bus crashed into the rear of another vehicle, and then it tumbled over on the Interstate 10. Then the bus also rolled over and finally landed into a ditch. On last count, 1 passenger was also reported to be missing, and the authorities suspect that it might be trapped under the bus, in the ditch.

Due to this mishap, the traffic has been held up, and subsequently the westbound lanes were closed for the traffic at the milestone 173, which is adjacent to the Pinal County border. Till the crash site is investigated and all the debris are removed, it won’t be open for the traffic. So the incoming traffic in this area is being rerouted to Arizona 587.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves revealed that out of the 6 people who died in this tragic crash, 2 were men and the rest were women. The exact count of the passengers on the bus is not known, but it is being estimated that there were around 23 people on the bus, when it crashed.
