Budweiser adopts innovative advertising style by offering free beer samples
September 23rd, 2010 - 2:50 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattSep 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Budweiser Beer has adopted a new innovative advertising strategy, by offering free beer samples to the youngsters. The company is trying to lure new drinkers into their fold and in this endeavor, they have decided to offer free samples to the young generation!
However the free samples would only be served to those youngsters, who are legally allowed to drink. They also plan to introduce the free samples in trendy and happening bars and elite restaurants.
According to reports, the advertising campaign would start off from Monday and will run through the middle of October. And it was also learned that the free samples would be given out in numerous sizes that would range from 6 to 12 ounces.
Budweiser has adopted the drastic advertising campaign, because it’s sales have been dropping a lot. In 2009, sales dropped by almost 10% and the company officials are pretty worried because over the years, the company has been consistently losing ground.
According to reports, people have switched loyalties from Budweiser to other forms of beers such as craft beers, some more economical beers or lighter beers. Hence Budweiser is trying its best to gain back the lost ground by their innovative advertising strategy.
