Britain All Braced For Snow As Weather Condition Worsens

November 8, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The weather Gods do not seem to have kindly thoughts for the isle of Britain this year. The country is already reeling under severe cold as it keeps itself braced to face snow that is likely to descent on it along with torrential downpours and accompanying winds that may blow with speeds reaching up to 70 miles per hour.

People who had been hoping of getting used to the harsh weather conditions slowly are certainly in for a shock as the weather may turn nasty suddenly. The entire region is going to have to bear the brunt of it with Wales and Scotland also having to endure the worst of it before it begins to spread eastwards.

The weather forecast did not hold any hopes as it predicted a darkening of skies with storms lashing all through the week.

The Environment Agency has warned the residents of Wales of floods with 15 other areas having to face the flash floods as well. The Scottish Highlands, no stranger to strong Gales are expected to have severe rains along with snowfalls also heavy in nature. Both the north and south west of England can hope to experience snow fall well before time too.

The weather forecaster for Meteogroup, Rachel Vince assigns the cause of this harsh weather to the deep low that has been moving in from the north west bringing the particularly strong winds along the whole of UK. It is going to be a truly horrible day as per her prediction.

Quite a few of the areas of the region are likely to witness snow falls ushering in the winter prematurely as the weather takes a turn for the worse Thursday onwards. The respite last week has been short lived indeed!
