Bridgeport, CT man found guilty of robbing two banks
March 4th, 2010 - 4:05 am ICT by BNO News ( Leave a comment )BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT (BNO NEWS) – A Bridgeport, Connecticut man was found guilty by a federal jury of two counts of bank robbery, prosecutors announced on Wednesday.
Francisco Deida, 46, Domingo Gonzalez and Henry Crespo robbed the Webster Bank in Milford of $84,259 on January 28, 2009. In the same year but on April 6, the three individuals robbed the TD Banknorth in Woodbridge of $23,002. They obtained over $100,000 from the two felonies.
Deida has two previous convictions for first degree manslaughter and first degree robbery. He faces a maximum term of life imprisonment based in his criminal record.
Gonzalez and Crespo have pleaded guilty and are also awaiting sentencing.
