Nov.17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a tragic turn of events, just hours before the body of Shaniya Davis was discovered, her father Bradley Lockhart appeared in a television interview to appeal to people so that his daughter could safely return home. Bradley had appeared in the CBS networks “Early Show” along with his sister Carey Lockhart-Davis on Monday. Unfortunately, the appeal went in vain as police found out that the 5 year old had died under mysterious circumstances.

In an extremely emotional outburst, the helpless father begged to everybody watching the show to be kind enough to return his little daughter who gad been missing for about a week. Bradley who looked immensely disturbed in the interview, asked anybody who had any clue where his daughter to drop the young girl anywhere so that the girl could return to her family. While describing his daughter, Bradley added that the girl was like a bundle of joy and surely did not deserve this trauma. In the interview, Bradley also regretted the fact that he had allowed his little girl to go and stay with her mother Antoinette Davis which ultimately resulted in the girl going missing. All this while, Shaniya had lived with her father and aunt who lived out of state.

Bradley’s 5 year old daughter was found dead late on Monday in Sanford at North Carolina after police had undertaken almost a week long search operation to find the girl. However, the actual reason which led to the death of the girl is still not clear. At the same time, police reports claim that the girl went missing after her mother sold the young girl into prostitution and sexual slavery.
