Boston University Sophomore Michael DeVito Passes Away

bostonBoston, Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A Boston University student was found dead in the wee hours of Thursday morning. 19 year old Michael DeVito was found in an unconscious state at the Sigma Chi fraternity house and was later rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.

A Boston Police spokesman has revealed that the authorities arrived at the Sigma Chi fraternity home after receiving an emergency call which intimated them about an “unconscious person” around 8:30 a.m. When the authorities eventually arrived at the house they found that medical technicians were already administering CPR to Michael DeVito in a bid to revive him. However, the Boston University student was then taken to the St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center where his death was confirmed by the hospital authorities.

Details about the actual cause of the death have not been available as yet but a thorough investigation is being carried out by the Boston Police in order to know the exact circumstances that led to the untimely demise of the young student. At the same time, any possibility of foul play has also been ruled out by Thomas Robbins, the Boston University Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the untimely death of Michael DeVito, who was a College of Arts and Sciences sophomore at the Boston University, has come as a rude shock to all his friends as well as the university officials. While remembering the deceased student, Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore has added that he is extremely saddened at this sudden death. At the same time, Kenneth Elmore also commented that Michael DeVito’s passing away would surely be a huge loss to the university community.
