Boss’s Day Being Celebrated Everywhere

office October 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Like every year, offices in the United States has planned to celebrate Boss’s Day on 16th October. This is a day when employee thank their boss for their fair decisions and kindness round the year. As stated by the sources, this day is meant to solve all the misunderstanding between the boss and the staffs. There can be several issues for misunderstandings and solving them helps in having positive effect on the workplace.

Boss’s Day has gained huge popularity among all office goers in the US. These days, many companies have young professionals in management position. This has changed the workplace culture. The greeting card companies have noticed this change in office culture and have designed greeting cards that people would like to gift their boss. Many greeting cards have conversational tones so that employees can express their gratitude to their boss.

Though there were huge lay offs after the economic recession of last year yet that has not reduced the popularity of the boss’s day. Adecco had made a survey which stated, sixty five percent workers did not want any changes in the relation that they shared with their boss. They have not changed their opinions about their bosses even after the layoffs. Many of them stated that their respect for their bosses have increased after the recession. Only Twelve percent workers considered their bosses to be incompetent. However, bosses became happy when they came to know that eighty-nine percent workers considered the relation that they have with their boss as the main reason for their job satisfaction. Boss’s Day is also celebrated in Ireland, Australia, South Africa and India amongst various other places.
