At least 7 people have died after a fuel tanker “full of explosives” exploded in Kabul.
As per Associated Press, atleast four US troups have been wounded.
The German Embassy sits across the street from a U.S. base in Kabul. U.S. spokesman Lt. Col. Chris Kubik says four U.S. service members have suffered shrapnel wounds from the blast.
Philipp Wendel, press officer for the German Embassy, says “Unfortunately we have a tight security situation right now. I can’t give you any information.”
Last year, a suicide bomb had struck a German embassy car in the capital Kabul, killed at least five Afghan civilians and that time the blast occurred outside Habibia Highschool in Kart-e-Char on Sunday at about 2.30pm. It is thought that one of the dead Afghan civilians worked for the city council as a road cleaner and another was a young boy.
