Maryland, Dec.26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christmas did not turn out to be a happy occasion for the Foxwell family. Sarah Foxwell, the 11 year old girl who went missing few days back, has been found but not in the way her family had expected to find her. The body of the young girl was discovered on Christmas evening near the Maryland-Delaware border.

Meanwhile, authorities have revealed that 30 year old Thomas J. Leggs Jr., who is a known sex offender has been taken into custody for carrying out the heinous crime. Mike Lewis, Wicomico County Sheriff has added that the young girl was abducted from her home earlier this week by the culprit, who was known to the girl’s family. Supposedly, Thomas J. Leggs Jr was spotted going to the girls bedroom by the victim’s 6 year old sister. Although, he had been arrested by the cops on Wednesday, Thomas J. Leggs Jr did not help the police in finding out the body of the murdered girl and has not been divulging much details of the incident.

As the news of the young girl going missing spread, a large number of volunteers indulged in a vigorous search to find the missing girl. However, their search operation did not yield any results as the girl was found murdered on Friday evening.

Police authorities have also implied that they are not ruling out the possibility that Thomas J. Leggs Jr might be involved in other multiple sex offense cases and are taking necessary steps to find the rest of the victims. However, as of now Thomas J. Leggs Jr. has not been co-operative with the authorities.
