BNO source: Pirates hijack Taiwanese fishing ship off Seychelles
May 8th, 2010 - 6:40 pm ICT by BNO NewsBRUSSELS (BNO NEWS) — Somali pirates hijacked a Taiwanese fishing boat carrying 28 crew members off of Seychelles, an official with knowledge of the situation told BNO News on Saturday.
The ship went missing on Thursday, but its hijacking was not confirmed until Saturday, the official said. The fishing boat was carrying crew members from China, Vietnam, Kenya, Mozambique and four others from an unknown country.
