Aug 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A blogger in Mexico has created waves in the media world after he revealed an inside view of the raging drug war in the country. The unidentified blogger, who can only be described as an unbiased medium, has opened up to the Mexican public the truth about the crime and brutality behind the drug trade, that they earlier only had a hint of. Operating from within a curtain of heavy computer security, reports suggest that Blog Del Narco has helped the Mexican police department as well but has also received criticism as being the free public relations for the media.

The videos posted on the blog depict some of the goriest crimes that are committed by the Mexican underworld. Considering that the media feels threatened in Mexico, the Blog Del Narco has provided a great insight into the dark underbelly of the Mexican drug trade.

Among the videos that have been posted on the blog, there one of a man being decapitated. In this case the police had reported that a beheaded man was found. In another video some of the Mexican pop music stars are seen at the birthday bash of the teenage daughter of an alleged drug lord. The blogger has revealed that the daughter had written to him to take down her pictures but he said that he would not take any action till her father contacts him. The blog also provides a neutral view of things and there is no censoring of the content. This has led to some of the content being extremely gory. There is also useful information for the public available like which road to avoid in times of shootouts.
