O’Fallon, Apr 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Police have arrested a man in O’Fallon Illinois for sending KKK threats to a police department in 2006. It was reported that the 28-year-old African American has sent another letter to City Hall ten days after he sent the first one.

One of the letters that was received by the O’Fallon Police Department reads: “Get all the blacks from Chevy Chase Apartments from out of O’Fallon before we burn the whole complex down, KKK warning.”

The man was identified as Justin Lamar Kidd who lives in the same city. He was arrested on Wednesday and was charged of two counts of maliciously conveying a false threat. If convicted, Kidd would spend up to 10 years in jail and pay a $500,000 fine.

Investigators have not yet determined the reason why he wrote and sent these threatening letters allegedly signed by Ku Klux Klan back in November 2006.

According to reports published by the Chicago Tribune, a judge has ordered Kidd to undergo a mental evaluation.
