Bite Of Seattle: The Party Begins

Seattle, July 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Seattle will see the celebration of the popular ‘Bite of Seattle’ food festival this weekend. The festival started on July 16 and will continue till July 18 at the Seattle Center. Foodies from all over the city arrive at the center to gorge on the traditional and popular food and drinks on offer. The ‘Bite Of Seattle’ attracts thousands of visitors every year and hundreds of restaurants participate in it as well.
The festivals begin at 11a.m and continue till 9 at night and there is no charge for entry. According to the forecast the weather is expected to play along after Friday with temperatures in the 70s. The Bite of Seattle will be a perfect weekend for the residents, especially the singles. The festival is a great chance to meet and interact with new people and spend time in the open with a supply of food, drinks and music. Crowds gather right from the morning and party throughout the day. The traffic this weekend around the Seattle Center is also expected to be manageable.
Revelers can enjoy a variety of wines while listening to live jazz at the wine tasting area $15 for 5 tastes. Among other interesting offers there is a $10 food tasting at ‘The Alley’ where people can taste food from as many as 7 restaurants. Apart from this, there will also be sandwich making and eating competitions along with various live performances at the Seattle Center. For the health conscious, the restaurants will offer a ‘Rite Bite’ option that will serve healthy portions like tofu spring rolls, vegan gyros, etc.
