bishop2 Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Bishop Eddie Long has spoken in his defense that all the sex abuse allegations against him are false and totally baseless. However his timing is quite off, as a third alleged victim also sued him on Wednesday.

Bishop Long is being supported by Craig Gillen, who is an attorney. He said in a statement that, “Bishop Eddie Long adamantly denies the allegations. It’s unfortunate the two young men have chosen to take this course of action.”

Art Franklin, who is the pastor’s spokesperson also defended the Bishop and said that the allegations are nothing but “a case of retaliation and a shakedown for money by men with some serious credibility issues.”

It ought to be mentioned that Bishop Long has been sued by 3 men, who allege that he sexually abused them, when they were in their teens. The latest entrant to sue the Bishop is 23 years old Jamal Parris. He alleged that the Bishop used his private plane and flew Parris all around the world and sexually abused him on the flight. The other two who have sued the Bishop are Maurice Robinson and Anthony Flagg.

According to reports, both Robinson and Anthony have a criminal background, hence their creditability is definitely at stake.
