PALM BEACH, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) — Billionaire John Goodman was charged with homicide-manslaughter-vehicular-DUI to cause death, failure to give info and render aid and is in the Palm Beach County jail on Wednesday morning, local media reported.

He turned himself in before dawn after an arrest warrant was signed late Tuesday afternoon charging him in the February death of a 23-year-old engineer, The Palm Beach Post reported.

Goodman is expected to see a judge on Wednesday morning.

Goodman, the founder of the International Polo Club of Palm Beach, was driving his Bentley in the early morning hours of February 12 when his car crashed into the Hyundai driven by Scott Wilson, sending the car into a canal.

Wilson, a recent college graduate, was driving from Orlando to his mother’s house in Wellington.
