Bill Clinton PETAJan 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) PETA recently named Bill Clinton as the ‘Person Of The Year 2010′. The social organization that fights for the rights of animals have found the former President of the United States fitting as per the requirements of their criteria and hence decided to shower the title on him. The chief reason behind rendering Bill Clinton the title is related to the theory of him turning into a vegan. The former President of the United States who was known to be a foodie, especially for his addiction towards the junk food has succeeded in leaving away his old habit, instead turning into a vegan.

To turn a vegan is something which suits the PETA morals and hence the social group had no doubts about conferring the title to him. The 42nd President of the United States of America had quit food products coming from animals for his daughter Chelsea’s fairytale wedding last year and ever since has continued the habit. The change in the diet got reflected as the former President began to shed some weight. Reportedly he lost out 25 pounds. According to sources, Bill Clinton was totally a junk freak who just could not restrict himself for his obsession for burgers.

Bill Clinton himself admitted that he now thrives on fruits, vegetables, beans and other vegetarian products. Instead of having milk coming from the cattle he consumes almond milk and takes protein supplement which have proved their benefits on him. The change in his diet has not only won him accolades from People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) but has also ensured him a life free from many diseases.
