June 16, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Tim Peeler, who lives in a deserted site of Vanada Drive, in the state of North Carolina, has reported sighting a so called ‘Bigfoot’. Peeler was all excited when he described the creature as being extraordinarily tall, about 10 feet in height. He also reported his sightings to the local authorities who were not entirely convinced but filed the report nevertheless. The Office of the Cleveland Sheriff has expressed a willingness to investigate into the matter as they are taking it with an open mind.

The huge creature was sighted by Peeler when he came out hearing grunts and screeching noises which were peppered by the barking of his dogs. He said, later on, that it might have been scaring his dogs who felt threatened by this version of Bigfoot.

Peeler also reported his findings to the NewsChannel 36, a partner of the Observer . He is said to have talked roughly to the stranger and told him to get away from his property. Bigfoot, apparently left, but came back soon after. Peeler chased the creature down a path, reports a local TV channel.

This story comes three decades after the much publicized story of Knobby, the famous Bigfoot, who had been sighted by quite a number of people in the region just north of the King’s Mountain. Various persons had then reported sighting a large and hairy creature who walked like a human being, supporting himself on two legs. The authorities had dismissed the sightings as a black bear then.

Sgt. Mark Self, the man in charge now, has iterated that he will be taking it into custody once it is sighted again. However, he cautioned the people living in and around the area as they might be dealing with a large and ferocious bear.
