Sep 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Beth Holloway, the mother of Natalee Holloway, who suddenly disappeared on 2005, met with Joran van der Sloot last Wednesday, her attorney said. Joran van der Sloot is the prime suspect of her daughter’s disappearance and he is presently awaiting his trial for murdering Stephany Flores. The meeting was reportedly very brief as Joran van der Sloot refused to talk in absence of his attorney.
Beth Holloway was accompanied by a Dutch documentary maker Peter de Vries in her trip to Castro Castro jail. John Q. Kelly, Beth Holloway’s attorney confirmed the news to the media on Friday. On the other hand Joran van der Sloot’s attorney said that his client was brought to the meeting by “force”. However, the attorney said that both Natalee Holloway and Joran van der Sloot spoke very less but treated each other well. John Q. Kelly, in one of his interviews said that Beth Holloway wanted to meet Joran van der Sloot but did not give him any of the “substance” of what she was going to talk about.
However, John Q. Kelly also said that he met Beth Holloway after she met Joran van der Sloot but she did not tell him about her conversation with Joran van der Sloot. The attorney said that Beth Holloway entered the prison without violating any rules or breaking any regulations. Beth Holloway told that she has no hatred in her heart against Joran van der Sloot and she forgives him, a source close to the missing girl’s mother said on condition of anonymity. However, John Q. Kelly in his interview said that he did not understand why Beth Holloway met Joran van der Sloot, whom she calls a “liar”.
