Best Buy has been approached by the Federal Communication Commissions to help install Dtv converter in homes. Best Buy will be extending their help in 30 states. These are the areas that are facing difficulty and are not able to connect their converter box.

To help meet the June 12th deadline, the Best Buy team has been approached for help. Consumers facing the problem with the connection of their converter box are required to call the Best Buy helpline. Through Best Buy’s cooperation, support is expected to reach out to people in rural or tribal areas, elderly people, non-English speaking consumers, minority consumers, consumers with disabilities etc.

Amongst other Best Buy news, iPhones from Best Buy is running low sufficiently in the manufacturing department. The company reports that the first generation iPhones will have a low showcase in stores, in some places almost coming down to nil, over the next few weeks.

An Australian distributor has commented that iPhones 3Gs was going to go down in stock in a major way. This pattern is almost similar to the pattern of last year when the first generation iPhones were almost made to disappear from the market prior to the launch of the iPhones 3Gs in July 2008. The production dipped a little too low for Apple in the second quarter, which resulted in the low sale of the first generation iPhones.

This year the reports of the shrinking supplies of the iPhones poured in a month later than last year. It could imply that Apple is preparing to launch the new iPhone OS 3.0 software soon enough.
