Rome, Nov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is planning to release his fourth album. The album which is titled “Il Vero Amore,” (The True Love) is made up of love songs written by the 75-year-old billionaire and performed by Mariano Apicella who recorded all his other three albums.

The Italian newspaper ANSA reports that the album was originally scheduled to be released in September but it was delayed. Some argue that it was because of the political struggle of Berlusconi at the time that is why the album was not released on the original date. The new release date of the album is the 22nd of November.

To the suggestion that the album was delayed because of the political uncertainty of Berlusconi at the time, Apicella said that, “Nonsense. I have no contact with the world of politics. I’m lucky enough to be Silvio Berlusconi’s friend and to collaborate with him. But the singer is boss, not the songwriter. I’m making the disc, and I decide when it comes out.”

Berlusconi, one of the most famous and powerful personalities in Italy, stepped down as the Prime Minister of the country almost a week ago. His position has since been given to former UN diplomat Mario Monti.
