Bellagio Casino Robbed Second Time In A Week!

abc4Dec 15, (THAINDINDIAN NEWS) A man wearing motorcycle helmet robbed a posh resort in Bellagio, Las Vegas on Tuesday early morning. The police is frantically searching for the robber who took about $1.5 million in casino chips. The law enforcement officials are of the opinion that the same man might have robbed another casino named Suncoast Hotel & Casino last week.

The law enforcement officials are now keeping a watch for anyone who trying to cash casino chips. Lt. Clinton Nichols said that the robbery took place as quick as possible. The casino officials declined to comment anything on the issue. Gordon Absher, spokesman for Bellagio owner MGM Resorts International said that the casino chips are not same as cash and at some point they can be redeemed. The law enforcement officials said that the man was wearing a motorcycle helmet to hide his face, he walked inside the casino and pulled his gun and then took the supply of chips available in the casino.

Lt. Clint Nichols of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the man then took the money and ran away. Police said no injuries were reported. The Bellagio resort’s security officials released images and surveillance videos of the incident. The photographs and videos show that the gunman was wearing black jacket, a black helmet with white stripes, black gloves and pants. The law enforcement officials reported that a similar incident took place on Suncoast Hotel & Casino on Thursday morning where a helmet wearing robber took away the casino chips. Officer Barbara Morgan told a reputed media source that the police is investigating the whole case and they have “safeguards in place”.
