gtHollywood, June 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) They might be superheroes but to Los Angeles Police Department, they are nothing but a bunch of panhandlers who are better under custody.

This is exactly what happened at the Hollywood theater where actors who have been impersonating cartoon characters like Batman, Donald Duck, Superman were handcuffed by the police. Batman aka Tony Tomey was whisked away by the cops in cuffs following a closely monitored incident.

So what exactly did the superheroes do to offend the law? Well the Los Angeles Police Department told the media that they were spotted receiving tips from the attending tourists near the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. The superhero impersonators have called the arrest to be “Un-American”. Speaking on the same note was “Incredible Hulk” impersonator Joe McQueen who said that he felt like he was “bullied” when the cops picked him from the streets on loitering charges.

The arrest of the superheroes have also made the tourists upset to have landed up at the empty theater with nobody to entertain them. The whole incident has also disappointed Christopher Dennis. He is one who has been sporting the “Superman” costume for 19 long years.

Mitchell Schonberner, the Michael Jackson impersonator however blames his fellow actors who he feels are responsible for bringing bad name to all of them. As of now the superhero impersonators have been asked to keep away from the Chinese Theater.

As a matter of fact, this is not the first time when the superheroes have clashed with the police. Although they never went strong on the cops, they have been taken into custody for petty reasons and were also put behind bars on a couple of occasions.

It was way back in the year of 2007, when Superman impersonator was arrested for using a portable lavatory that was meant for a group of union workers.
