London, April 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A bank worker has been left without a job after she eyed her boss’s salary. Stephanie Bon got the sack when she compared her £7-an-hour pay to the £4,000-an-hour that her new boss is going to receive.

The 37-year-old was an HR assistant at Lloyds Banking Group. When she heard about the pay of her new boss, Stephanie decided to pour her frustration on the Internet. She got on Facebook and posted the comment, “LBG’s new CEO gets £4,000 an hour. I get £7. That’s fair.”

Her bosses heard about the comment and did not find it amusing. She was instantly fired for her actions. Stephanie believes that her former bank handed her a raw deal. In an interview with The Daily Mail, Stephanie said that she was treated unfairly.

She told the newspaper that, “I can’t believe I have been treated so appallingly for what essentially amounts to a chat with my mates outside work. I was at my friend’s having coffee and it was on the news. I went on Facebook and within a couple of hours something else came up so I changed my status.”
