The Bangkok Governor, Mr. Apirak Kosayodhin, will discuss Bangkok’s tourism development model scheme with the tourism industrial sector.
This year, Travel and Leisure magazine has voted Bangkok as No. 1 in both the world’s best cities and top ten cities Asia. The Bangkok Governor will travel to the United States of America to receive the awards on July 24th.
Mr. Apirak said Bangkok has won both awards because the tourism promotion policy has been carried out seriously and concretely. He said one of the successful projects is the Charm of Bangkok project.
However, Mr. Apirak said the awards will not influence the Democrat Party’s decision to field him in the upcoming Bangkok Governor’s election.
