henneColorado, Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It appears that the balloon boy hoax will not fadeout from the memory of people so easily. The hoax, which involved a little boy flying in a hot air balloon, had received a huge media attention in October, last year. Richard Heene, the balloon boy’s dad and the man who had plotted the hoax, has once again gained media attention by calling the Sheriff a ‘liar’, in a television show.

According to the reports, Richard Heene, who is sentenced to a 90 days imprisonment, claimed that the Sheriff had wrongly accused him by saying that before calling 911 for help, he had called a television network to inform about the incident. In the show, he tried to defame Sheriff Jim Alderden for bringing such an allegation against him. The man wanted to prove his innocence and once again tried to establish the fact that the entire incident was ‘not a hoax’. He insisted that he had pleaded guilty for the act as he did not want his wife to be deported to Japan.

Though Richard Heene made an attempt to avoid the imprisonment sentence for his act and called the Sheriff’s department ‘liar’ in front of television camera, the Sheriff’s department did not pay much attention to it. As per the reports, the decision brought by the Sheriff against Richard Heene has remained unchanged and he has been asked to report for his imprisonment sentence on the scheduled time. It has also come to the news that during his imprisonment, he would receive same treatment as the other inmates. Reports also indicated that his wife’s 20 days jail term would be come in effect after he completes his sentence.
