Baby Lisa Irwin Missing Mystery: Suspicious man seen in footage
October 25th, 2011 - 12:30 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Oct 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Investigators involved in unraveling the circumstances behind the disappearance of toddler Lisa Irwin has announced that they have a lead. Officials say the surveillance camera near the home shows a man walking past around midnight.
The footage was obtained by ABC’s Good Morning America. The mysterious man can be seen wearing a white dress and coming from the cottage where 11-month-old Lisa was living with her family. The family announced that Lisa disappeared on the same night that the man was captured on the camera.
The family of Lisa insists that the child was abducted. An eyewitness reported seeing a man carry a child away from the neighborhood. Speaking to ABC News, the man, Mike Thompson, said he met a man holding a baby around 4 a.m. which was around the same time that the family realized that Lisa was missing.
Thompson said that, “[At] 4 a.m., 45 degrees, baby doesn’t have a coat or nothing and this guy is walking down the street and I thought it was kind of weird.”
Thompson’s story is supported by another couple who said they saw a mysterious man carrying a baby out of the neighborhood. They called the police the next morning and reported what they saw.
Lisa has been missing since the 4th of October.
