After the release of the video, the state officials have said that the reputation of the police department has been damaged beyond repair. The attorney general also said that now the government is thinking of new guidelines on the blatant usage of such devices.
The state premier - Colin Barnett was very angry at the incident and at the “unjustified use of excessive force”. The attorney general is also shocked that the police officers in question haven’t been charged as yet.
